Dead week is upon me and I can already feel its weight.
This week is definitely going to be tough, stressful, and very demanding on my mind and body.
It feels like this will never end.
I have so much to do during a week that's supposed to be reserved for studying.
Instead, I will be fighting myself to make time to study on top of everything that has to be done.
I have 4 papers that need to be revised for Friday.
I have a final paper due Thursday.
I have an exam on Wednesday.
I have an English paper due Friday.
I have to study for two Geography exams.
I have to study for an Art exam.
I have to study for a Japanese exam.
T-T Somebody help me please...
I have to do well on the one geog exam because I have a 75 in the class, which is a C, and I don't want to drop to a D.
The exams in that class are crazy though, so I'm really worried.
Everything just needs to work out... I know it will...
On another note, someone is eating some gross smelling food somewhere near my room.
It smells like old bologna or something, yuck.
Only 9 more days until I'm home!!!!! yay!
No more dorm until August! Yes!
I miss my bed. I could really use it right about now.
So, today I got my package from Everyday Minerals that I ordered!
It actually got here pretty quick, I'm happy :)
I ordered quite a few things, and even got some free gifts too.
I decided to do an un-boxing post ( because I like them).
I think this will be a good reference post for people who are unsure about the item sizes.
I know I didn't really know how big anything was when I ordered, so hopefully you might get some useful info from this.
The packing material to protect everything looks like little worms you make in kindergarten :P
If you ordered over $25 before April 24th, you got a free pressed blush and finishing powder. That's a great deal!
The brown cap is a small sized eyeshadow, while lilac caps are considered a small finishing powder and a small sized blush (2.5g).
The Oasis eyeshadow is very sparkley. I'd say its a light brown color; very pretty. The small size was $2.50.
The Star to Finish Fair was one of the free gifts. I think it's a little too light for me to use.
The Plum Dust blush is really nice. It's a pinky - mauvey color that works well with my skin tone (i'm Fair-Medium). The 2.5g size was $4.00.
This was the other free gift I received. It's a full sized pressed blush. I love the case! It's like a recycled cardboard lacquer thing ( I don't know how to describe it better than that :p)
The All Smiles pressed blush is a very light pink, even a little peachy like a light coral color. It's pretty, but I haven't tried it with foundation on ( I sampled it on my hand) so I don't know how this will look on my face. I like it though! This product isn't for sale on the website yet so I don't know the price.
This is the large sized foundation and retails for $12.00.
These are the cosmetic wet wipes. They only cost $3.75 and you get 80 of them. They smell nice and are organic, which is a big plus.
This is a great brush!!! It's the eyeshadow brush, which costs $5.00. I've been looking everywhere for a good quality brush and this is definitely one. It's also great for applying the powder eyeliner.
Overall It cost me $27 for the products and $5 for shipping, which is great for cosmetics. Hopefully you got an idea of how big all the products are and maybe you'll go order some for yourself. v(^__^)v
I've been told that I'm boring on numerous occasions in my life.
My ex told me it.
My brother told me it.
My mom's even told me it, though in a joking manner.
I can't help but feel frustrated by this.
I feel like it's something that will follow me no matter where I go.
I feel like I maybe that's why I haven't found anyone yet.
Because I'm boring...
I like to read.
I like to be by myself.
I like to just lay back and relax.
I like to surf the web.
But those things make me "boring."
So I'm boring because I don't like to go out and play sports.
I'm boring because I don't go out to eat with 5+ friends.
I'm boring because I'm not always going out somewhere.
I'm boring because I don't like to go get drunk.
I'm boring because I don't do anything "fun."
I don't want to be thought of as boring.
I want to be fun, the person people want to do things with.
I am fun, people just don't see it.
I am.
I got this issue of Nakayoshi awhile ago, a few years actually.
This issue is for May of 2005.
I remember when I bought it, I had no idea what it said or what any of the manga inside were.
I didn't even know what it was called.
But now, as I decided to look at it once again, I can actually read it and understand parts of it.
It's pretty cool ^__^
I recommend it.
The pictures in side are stunning and the articles are very good.
You even get a huge map of china/ forbidden city poster.
(Forgive the smudge prints on the cover :-p)
Yeah, I've always been accident prone.
Some how I'm always the one that manages to get hit with a ball or trips over something.
Today just further confirmed it.
I got hit with a Frisbee -_-
Yep, I did.
I was walking out by the Mountainlair where everyone is always playing some kind of sport.
Out of nowhere, this frisbee comes flying at me an hits me on the shoulder.
The one guy yells at the thrower to apologize, but he doesn't.
I'm pretty sure I'll have a nice bruise in the morning.
It's just my luck though.
Not two feet in front of me were a group of people walking, and did it hit them? No, it ZONED in on ME.
I am so sad right now!
One of my favorite shows, Rob & Big, ended tonight!
Those two are so hilarious its unreal.
I love that show!!!
I didn't even know the series was ending until yesterday :(
Guess I'll have to make due with reruns.
Maybe one day they'll film a special.
I can only hope.
People in West Virginia have a staring problem.
More specifically, WOMEN in Weat Virginia have a staring problem.
Never in my life have I been somewhere where so many girls will glare at you when you walk past them.
I mean, seriously, its rude.
I don't know you, you don't know me, so why do you feel the need to stare me down?
It's frustrating and annoying and I'm pretty damn sick of it.
It's not just here in Morgantown, its also back at my hometown.
Everywhere you go, you'll find women that just rudely stare at you wherever you go.
I don't get it.
If you want to look at me, fine, but why does your head need to turn around when I walk past you?
Geez people...
There are only 3 weeks left until I get to go home for the summer.
To be exact, I have 22 days.
And let me tell you, I am so ready to go back.
But, before I get to go back, I have a ton of projects to do.
3 of my profs decided that It would be a good idea to assign us projects before finals.
It's just my luck that they are all due the same week, two of which are due on the same day.
It's pretty overwhelming.
Not only do I have those projects, but I also have a Japanese test to take next week, and take-home final project due may 1, and big finals to study for.
I will be very relieved when this is all over and done with.
I'm not sure how I did this semester, hopefully alright.
I know I have a C in Geog, but for the rest I have no idea.
I just want at least a 3.3 like last semester. I can only hope I did better than that though.
So, for quite a while now I've been searching for the perfect foundation.
I've tried powder foundation, semi-liquid foundation, and even liquid foundation - and none of them ever worked how I wanted them to.
But FINALLY, I have found it!
My perfect foundation!
It all started from a recommendation by Bubblesung at LJ.
She was the one that told me about Everyday Minerals, so I decided to give them a try.
They actually offer a free sample kit, which includes 3 foundation shades of your choice, one blush, and one concealer.
The guide on the website for choosing the foundations was really helpful and I actually ended up finding my perfect match! Yes!!!
I also ended up ordering a mineral eyeliner and a baby kabuki brush (which is on back order but will hopefully arrive soon).
The sample kit was free like it said, you only have to pay the shipping (like $4.00), the eyeliner was $2.50, and the brush was $6.00.
Overall, the prices are great.
But anyway, onto the makeup!
Like the brand name suggests, this is mineral makeup.
I've always wanted to try some, but it's always been so expensive so I never bothered.
The first time I put one of the foundations on, I was amazed.
It gave me coverage and evened out my skin without making it look like I was wearing any makeup!
My shade is Fair Medium, and it works great.
The blush I got its called B&B and its a bit orangey for me, but it doesn't look bad.
I actually mixed some of the foundation with it to lighten it up and it looks good :)
I really like the eyeliner as well.
Using as a powder or liquid is easy and the results are nice.
I haven't tried the concealer yet, but I will Monday when I get ready before class.
No use in wasting it when I'm not going anywhere Sunday :P
I will definitely be purchasing some more products from them soon.
I'm so happy to have found a foundation that works for me!
I really recommend them, 100%!
