I had some coupons to use up so I decided to pick up these few things while I was out at the store yesterday.
I snagged 2 MaxFactor MAXeye shadows in Cocoa Crazy and Vintage Vixen (they were buy one get one free), Rimmel Extra Super Lash mascara, and Rimmels eye-makeup remover.
I've heard a lot of mixed reviews for this one and from what I had heard, you either loved it or hated it. I'm one of those people that love it. It does a really good job of separating my lashes and coating them evenly. There wasn't any clumping or flaking, so I'm happy with it.
I've been needing some of this forever! I've been making due with just my ponds face cream and some cosmetic wipes from EDM. Needless to say, they don't work so well when trying to remove mascara and such. This remover is very gentle, just like the bottle claims. It didn't irritate my eyes at all and removed everything with just a few swipes. I recommend it :)
Sunday I ended up going to Mason Dixon Raceway in Hagerstown, MD with my brother and some friends.
They have a drag strip and my cousin was riding his quad in the races, so we went up to watch.
I've actually never been to a drag strip or anything like it, so it was a new experience for me.
It was super loud!!! And, I ended up with a t-shirt tan -_-
But I have to admit, it was pretty cool hanging out with everybody and watching someone you know race.
Last week I happened to go to Kohl's to look for some dresses and ended up with three.
I must say, they have a pretty nice selection of summer dresses, so go check it out if you haven't already.
Also, Macy's has a good selection up so far.
But anyway...
This one was $40.00,and i'm not sure it was really worth that much, but I loved how it looks on me. If you have a smaller bust (like myself) this dress can make you look a little more well endowed. ^_~
I really really like this one! It's a bubble dress, and I honestly never thought I would like a bubble dress on me but I love this one. If I ever decide to go out one weekend while I'm at school then I can wear this, or I can pair it with a cute cardigan and its great for classes or going shopping. This one was $34.99.
I got my final grades for the semester today and I am so proud of myself!
I ended up with 5 A's and 1 C.
I honestly thought I was going to end up with quite a few B's, but what do you know, i pulled it off :)
My grades this semester actually show how hard I worked so I'm really happy.
I'm not happy about the C, but that class was RIDICULOUS so oh well, I tried my best and that's all that matters.
Yay me :)
On another note, I voted last Tuesday!
It was my first time ^__^
I was voter #200. Pretty cool huh?
I ended up messing something up on the ballot and voted for one too many people and the machine beeped so i had to push some button on it.
Embarrassing in itself, but even more so considering a guy I graduated with was standing 3 feet away looking at me while it happened. -_-
I did get a cool sticker though!
Two exams down, one to go.
I had my Japanese exam this morning.
Hopefully I did alright. I think I did, so i've got my fingers crossed that I did.
I had some trouble trying to remember which particles go with what... damn particles XP
My Geog107 exam was also today, and it was horrible just like I thought it would be.
I ended up getting a D, which is passing but still.
I put so much effort and time into studying for this exam and my grades don't reflect how much I really try.
It's so frustrating -_-.
And to be honest, the exams are completely unfair.
The test is on a computer and you get 60 random questions out of a pool of questions.
On persons exam could be filled with more of the tougher questions than the person beside them.
I don't think that's fair at all.
Everyone should have the same exam with the same questions, period.
I thought I would do a little better than I did honestly, but what can you...
I got some really tough questions, and I swear some of that stuff wasn't even brought up in class.
Stupid class. Grrr...
But, the good news is --- NO MORE GEOG 107!!!!!!!!!!!!1
YAY! I HATE THAT CLASS. And now it's over :D
I'll get a C in the class, so whatever.
I know I tried my best, so that's all that matters.
I have an Art exam tomorrow, and then I'm leaving to go back home.
Thanks God, because I'm so ready to go.
Today former president Bill Clinton came to WVU in support of his wife.
The campaign was supposed to start at 8:30am, but instead it started at 9:30.
I must say, crowds are very frustrating when you are short.
Being my 5'1" self, I could barely see over anyone.
I just have to say, I love the people who say excuse me to get by you and then end up standing INFRONT of you.
These two older women did it to me. I know you're supposed to respect the elderly, but who wouldn't be frustrated if people taller than you butted in front and made it so that you couldn't see?
THEN, it starts to drizzle and all these people put up their umbrellas near the front.
Personally, I think that's rude. Don't put an umbrella up in a crowd. Not only does it block peoples view, but the rain running off the umbrella pours onto the people around you.
Thankfully, the rain cleared before Bill came out and the sun started to shine.
I was about halfway back from the podium so I had to zoom in with the camera. (Thats why the pics aren't the greatest.)
It was a good experience though.
I'm a Hillary supporter so I was happy to see that at least someone cares about West Virginia.
I ended up skipping my first class to watch him but come on, how many chances do you get to see Bill Clinton in person?
