My headphones are about to die :(
I only have sound on the left ear-bud, and I have to jiggle the cord to try and get sound to the right side.
It's really frustrating being able to only hear on one side of your head.
Now I know what my mom must feel like.
Tomorrow I need to go to the bookstore and cough up some money for new ones.
I hate to do it because they are so over priced, but I don't think I can go 4 days without them.
Drowning out things with music is the only thing keeping me sane some days.
Plus, I won't be able to watch any of my shows online if I don't have earphones.

Next weekend my family is planning a small trip down to the Baltimore Inner Harbor.
I haven't been there since elementary school.
I remember going to the aquarium for a field trip and we saw Ricki Lake there with her baby.
That's like the only famous person I've ever seen in real life :P
I think we're going to try and go to the zoo, the aquarium, do some shopping, and eat at a nice restaurant.
As long as the weather is nice, it should be a really fun time with my family.
I'm looking forward to it.

I am so looking forward to spring break.
Only 4 more days, thank goodness.
If my brother comes up with my parents I'm going to take him with me to my last class.
I'm ready to go home.
To sleep in on the weekends until whenever I want to and not be woken up.
It will be bliss.

I haven't posted much this month.
Truth is, I've just been to busy with school work to do anything.
For the last few weeks I've just been swamped with a ton of assignments.
It seems like something is due in every class, every day, every week.
It got to be pretty overwhelming on Friday, and I was really close to having a meltdown.
After a week of writing papers, doing hours of Japanese homework, and finding time to study for a huge test in Geog 107, I was spent.
Friday I failed my test, locked myself out of the room, had a huge headache, and really just needed my family more than anything.
The weekend went by quickly, but I managed to get the rest that my body needed desperately.

Luckily, I didn't end up failing the test due to the professor curving the grades, so I ended up with a C.
I'm not complaining, it was a really tough test.

Of course, it's back to a list full of assignments due this week.
I'm trying my best not to over work myself, but it's easier said than done.
When you have 2 exams, 2 papers to write, articles to read, and time consuming Japanese homework, and studying that needs to be done, it's a bit hard not to overwork yourself.
You can't just not do things.

My spring break will be here in 4 weeks, and I am counting down the days like a 5 year old waiting for Christmas.
I need to go home.
To get away from here for a week.
To not have something due Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Of course, I won't be doing anything spring-break-like.
I guess I'm just cursed to have a family that doesn't go on vacations.
Lucky me...
I do plan on do some long over due shopping.
I'm practically dying here not being able to go shopping.
The closest thing I get is a trip to the bookstore.
I NEED TO SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, only 2 days to go until I'm home!
Technically, since it's 12:00am, it's only 1 day... but lets just say 2 until after I wake up :p
I had so much to do this week, It just felt like I could never relax.
I took an exam tuesday in history, then one for Japanese today, and had to turn in a notebook for a pass/fail grade.
Plus, it was really rainy today, so it wasn't fun to be outside, even though I was most of the day.
Luckily, it's just a smooth ride for the rest of the week in classes.
No exams to study for this weekend.
No assignments due.
Just some studying over break, and I'm good!
I'm ready for my much deserved break.
Tomorrow is going to be crazy though -_-
I have so much cleaning to do!
I need to clean the room, take out trash, clean out fridge, and pack up everything I'm bringing.
Tomorrow afternoon will be very busy.
Thankfully, it's my sleep in day! So no getting up until 10:45am!
Yay me :)
2 days to go... this week is taking forever.

Oh my goodness! It is sooooo cold here!
It's only November 7th, and we have already had the temps drop below freezing during the day AND we had a call for snow!
I heard some people talking about how they saw the snow, but I was probably sleeping while it happened :P
This week has gone by surprisingly fast.
Wednesday is almost over already, and I only have 9 days left until I get to go back home for the break.
I'm incredibly excited :D
Of course, after being home for a day, I'm going to be sick of it and wonder why I wanted to come back in the first place :p
But oh well, I'll just be happy to be back in my own room, by myself, knowing I can go to the bathroom in private, take an actual bath, and not have to hear yelling or stomping :)
I'll get to eat REAL food, and sleep in until lunch time!
AND, I'll get to start decorating for Christmas :D
I love love love to decorate!
I just can't wait!
It's kind of sad though that I won't be home for most of December though :(
I guess we'll just be doing a lot of decorating during the break week, and the week I come back!
Well, it's cold, so I'm going to snuggle under the blanket :)

This Saturday was such a good day for me, one of the best in while actually.
My parents and brother drove up to visit me for the day :)
It was a beautiful day outside, not too cold but not hot either, and the sun was shining with no clouds in sight.

I woke up only 20 minutes before my family arrived, and found out that my hair dried over night into a giant poof -_-
I had pinned it up to get some wavy curls like i've done many times before, only this time when I took all my hair down it was poofed out to the max - and i was not walking out of the dorm looking that that!
So I grabbed a towel, ran into the shower room, and wet my hair down the best i could without getting my clothing soaked.
By the time I was done, my parents had already gotten there, so i had like 2 minutes to dry my hair (or atleast attempt to)
Luckily my hair dried in the car, and looked pretty decent :)
We all went to Walmart, where I stocked up on groceries to last me for at least 2 weeks.
Then, we went to look at the Christmas stuff!
If you didn't already know, I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
It makes me so happy to see all of the decorations :)
They were even playing Christmas music in the store, which I thought seemed a bit too early, but I don't really mind because I love Christmas music too :D
Then we went over to Target :)
They had tons of cute hello kitty stocking stuffers! Yay Hello Kitty!
My brother bought his iPod, and then we all checked out the x-mas stuff they had too.
Target has some very cool Christmas stuff!
My dad actually found a few things he wanted to buy, which was so out of character for him!
In the past, he's never really been into decorating and we basically had to force him to put up lights in the house, and he wasn't big on Christmas music either.
BUT, while we were at target, he found a train that he wants to come back and buy, as well as some new lights.
And, my mom said he wants to buy a new stereo for the Holidays, so we can listen to Christmas music!
She also said he wants me to pick out where the tree goes.
Normally, the tree goes wherever it will be out of the way and easiest to put.
He's definitely changing, and for the better i must add :)

I'm so excited for the break, I really am!
Only 2 more weeks, and I get to go home :)
I've never been this excited for Thanksgiving in my life!

Today is November 1st, and Halloween in officially over and done with
That means Thanksgiving is coming up next!
I'm ready to decorate my door now ^-^
While everyone else went out last night, I stayed in and made a turkey from construction paper to put out on the door
I'm not sure what else I'll make to decorate, but i'm sure i'll think of something cute :)
It's pretty chilly out side, but it feels nice.
It's not freezing cold, but it's not exactly warm, so it's a nice medium.
I only have my tutoring session to go to , and then I'm done for day.
Well, I'm not really going to be done... I still need to start studying for my anthro. exam next tuesday.
I've had an exam every week since the beginning of October, and it won't end until thanksgiving break, so only 2 more to go!!! yay!

I'm currently sitting outside at Woodburn circle, typing this up.
It's actually quite nice outside, with a cool breeze blowing every now and then.
I'm normally not one to spend a lot of time outside, but because it is much cooler outside than in my dorm room, I'm enjoying the weather.
I honestly cannot wait until the fall weather starts.
I can't even begin to explain how much I hate the heat.
I work up a sweat just walking to and from class - because it's so hot!!!
Then after I get to the room, instead of walking into cool air conditioning like everyone else, I walk into an oven thats hotter than outside.
Thank god for the invention of fans - because even though it's only hot air blowing on me, it makes life a little bit easier.

Is anyone else ready for the holidays?

The other day when I went down to dollar general, I saw that they were starting to put out the halloween stuff :)
To be completely honest, Halloween isn't my fav holiday.
For me, it's basically marking the start of the holiday season, because right after halloween comes thanksgiving, and after that comes Christmas :)
I CANNOT WAIT TO GO HOME!!!!

Speaking of Christmas... That is my absolute favorite holiday!
Not because of gifts, it's because of the atmosphere that Christmas brings on.
Everyone around becomes so happy when Christmas season comes around.
I love seeing all of the decorations, and everything lit up :)
I'm already planning what I'm going to do in the dorm room.
I hope Nikki doesn't mind too much :p
I know I'm putting up my small christmas tree, but I also want to put some xmas lights up somewhere (maybe the window) and also decorate the door.
Oh! Stockings too!!!
Maybe our side of the hall should have a christmas party before everyone leaves for break!
So many things to do, I can't wait :) I'm so excited!!!
Now I want to listen to Christmas music... I think I will :p

So many people hate christmas music, but I personally love it.
